Hey fellow Oregonian! I wanted to personally invite you to a very special event coming on Friday, August 10. We're calling it D-Day! Our Rumbanana - D'Anna - is turning 21 and we're throwing her a Latin X Night party with a birthday twist. It's all at the Platinum Club in Corvallis. Hope you can make it.

Hi Florabelle, Did you ever know about BlueDiamond.com? It was a ballet studio owner/teacher's website from the midwest... Chicago or St. Louis. It closed down forever December 15 of 2005. A dance friend told me about it 10 days before it went dark, and I downloaded everything I could from it into a HUGE Word doc. I finally finished reading it tonight. (I read it when I need inspiration, and being benched with blown knees keeps me needing inspiration!) So at the very eensy teensiest bottom of the document was the following... read and enjoy!

A student writes: "Florabelle Moses teaches an excellent adult open class Monday and Wednesday from 7-8:30pm during the year, and Monday and Wednesday from 6:30-8pm, plus Saturday from 10:30am-12 noon, during the summer. She is from Israel, where she received her training and her BA in dance. She also has an MA in Dance from the University of Oregon. She is incredibly patient with all of her adult students, no matter their level. She is always encouraging and pushes you to work your best with your own abilities. Unlike many teachers who only like to work with aspiring professionals, she enjoys teaching adults and takes seriously our desire to learn ballet. You couldn't wish for a better teacher!"

Yes, we are finally back. We were on board a plane that had to do a emergency landing in Chicago due to smoke in cabin after take off. We were not home until Thursday (you took us to Portland on Monday)..

We can not go to the BritFest although we would love to - that event is awesome. We are booked for a tango workshop that weekend.

Thanks again - it was incredibly nice of you to drive us all the way to Portland!!
