About Yourself

I love to dance...I can dance pretty much anything but my passions are Argentine Tango and NYOn2. I currently attend Brown University where I am part of the Latino Performing Arts Troupe called MEZCLA. My freshman year I learned to dance Rueda de Casino from Chris who had graduated the year before I came to Brown. I choreographed my first Rueda piece last spring and will post a link of the video as soon as I upload it to my computer.

Dance background, philosphy, passions and ideals

I was born dancing merengue and bachata (I'm Dominican). I became very interested in other types of dance when I first saw the Kaoma Lambada video when I was about 4 or 5 haha. I would dance non stop in my living room. Didn't start taking dance classes until the summer of 2005, but in three months I got to the intermediate level of all the dance styles I tried (I was dancing night and day, in my sleep, at work, etc.)

I wouldn't really know, I have not been around too much. Even though I'm from NY, I went to boarding school so I don't have many friends in NY to go out dancing with. And it's even harder to get out in Providence.
