what am i doing? working like a fiend (usually four 12-hr night shifts) in the hospital, still keeping up my navy reserve gig - i drove across country last summer from st.augustine, florida, to santa monica, california, visiting new orleans (which i have been to several times), alamo in san antonio, 'alien museum' in roswell, new mexico, that was fun, the grand canyon, beach at santa monica, hollywood walk of fame, back through flagstaff, arizona, staying on route 66, yep, it's still there - amarillo, oklahoma city, memphis (stopped at graceland to see if i could catch elvis), through the mountains of tennessee and north carolina to see my parents, and back to florida - 7000 miles in two weeks round trip - my original intent was to see a college buddy now living in boise, idaho, and maybe check out the salsa scene in corvallis, time permitting, but had to abbreviate the trip due to time - the plan THIS summer is to finish the 'northwest' leg as i have done the 'southwest' part - so who knows? we may meet yet - tell me about school - so whaddya gonna be when you grow up? how far along are you? etc, etc, etc, and are you still dancing salsa?
