I feel really bad that I have to mention this but. . .
First off: I need to dance with someone who has great hygiene -fresh breath, wears anti-perspirant, clean hands, etc. I think most dancers are considerate enough to include these as priories in every day life.

FYI: Sometimes body odor and bad breath are signs that a person must change thier diet, and include more water and green plants. Serious dancers try to maintain balance in their body.

Now the good stuff. . .
I need to dance with someone who is creative (can you choreograph, do you have style?), patient (if I don't catch on to a combination as quickly as yourself, are you going to dog me out?), and intelligent (when we take a break, can we still hold a conversation about other things in life).

I am a 20-something single Chicagoan Libra who is desperate to master Salsa and Mambo dance from every possible angle.

I work a regular job within the confines of corporate America, and then release my stress and tension in this beautiful dance.

I enjoy jogging, and light strength training exercises. So my resilience is obvious when I dance.

Okay, my love affair with Latin Dance began when I first heard the deep, sexy rhythms of salsa and bachata from a Chicago radio station years ago.

I was always acquainted with Salsa, even while growing up. Some of my relatives are Puerto Rican, so of course.

But during that moment, I felt destined to actually learn the dance and express myself through it.

This urge continued to grow, and years later I acted upon it with my first class in a Chicago University.

I've learned that there's a difference between acquaintances and lovers. There's a difference between friends and soulmates. For me, Salsa and I are perfect for each other. My body is made for it, and I learn more about my body's flexibility and my own energy level from engaging this dance.
I can feel its music, and this emanates from me.

I think everyone has experienced passion for something in their life. I'm glad that I finally discovered mine.

My favorite dance is, of course, Salsa. But I also enjoy bachata. I hope to learn to dance Tango eventually.

My favorite dance clubs are Green Dolphin, Club 720.

Jogging, Reading, Conversating, Sleeping, Dancing. That's enough!!

I Love Salsa

Hi SalseraEnLaCiudad,

Thanks for the add....

LOL ... Yeah, I agree that everyone should practice good hygiene... but, dancing Salsa is a contact sport and perspiration is a cause and effect... and you have probably met alot of very inconsiderate dance partners...

Hang in there...

It's been a minute since I was in Chicago, but if you make it over to NYC, drop me a line and I'll see to it that you have at least a few memorable dances in NY... ;)

Keep on dancing and don't forget to smile!
