Mambo/Salsa, Son Montuno-- I especially love the old school like one of the greatest bands ever, Typica '73, and Hector Lavoe, Larry Harlowe, Cuban Pete Rodriguez, Pete el Conde Rodriguez, Fania All Stars, Tito Puente etc, etc.
Back in the day I LOVED p-Funk but those great bands all died in the late 80's like Cameo, The Gap Band, Confunksion, Slave, Ohio Plyers, George Clinton, The Funkadeliks & The Brides of Funkenstien etc., etc.
