I'm just your average chica next door who grew up in Michigan never hearing one note of Latin music of any kind... and then *poof*, I'm in Washington DC, I meet a Puerto Rican and wa-la... I'm dancing salsa. You might think with mi esposo pero no. I am the only one in the family who dances. I fell in love with him AND salsa so now he has to share a little.

Dance background, philosphy, passions and ideals

I started out with the basics on on1. I fell into an on2 class which didn't sit too well with me and finally started driving 1.5 hrs for rueda/casino classes and it stuck. So 5 years later I'm still dancing it and have great friends now because of it!

In the Washington DC Metro Area you can usually find me at Cecilia's in Arlington, Virginia. Sometimes Habana Village and other various spots!
