five months

2. What was the first type of dance you ever learned?
cuban salsa

3. Do you listen to salsa music alone away from the dance floor?
yes, all the time lately

4. What is the farthest you have ever travelled specifically for salsa?
just two hours to Portland so far

5. Have you ever blown off other plans for salsa?
no, but I have scheduled a medical surgery around my salsa plans

6. Are you willing to date anyone who is absolutely unwilling to dance?
cross that bridge when I come to it

7. Do you buy clothes specifically for salsa dancing?
... sometimes, when I'm bad

8. How much longer do you forsee yourself salsa dancing?
hopefully indefinitely

9. How many nights a week do you salsa dance?
one or two now but come januray it'll be three or four

10. Do you drink when you go out salsa dancing?
one or two, yes

11. If you do drink, does it improve or inhibit your dancing abilities?
it loosens me up a bit, but if I have too much, then it definitely inhibits it!

12. Do you prefer to salsa in a couple or a rueda?
I like both - but, I looooove a good rueda!

13. Have you ever recruited anyone to salsa dancing?
not yet, but I'm working on it

14. Can you lead AND follow?
not yet, but when I master following more I'll probably learn some basic leading

15. How much would you be willing to pay for a good pair of dance shoes?
I spent $80 for a good pair - I'm hoping they last a long time

16. Have you ever gone through an instructional salsa dvd?
yes! and I go through it again tomorrow night!

17. Do you currently take salsa classes?
I would be, but all my salsa teachers are taking december off!

18. How late do you usually stay out dancing?
until they kick me out

19. Do you know the bartenders or bouncers at the salsa clubs you frequent?
yes, a few - very cool people
